”Henri Lindström, born 1983 in Laukaa, is a Finnish musician associated with the likes of Alex Cameron, Jaakko Eino Kalevi and SUAD. In addition, Lindström has also been prolific in writing and releasing his own material. On SOITA JOS MEINAAT DELAA Lindström continues to explore the effects of repeating polyrhythmic synthesizer patterns, creating contemplative musical passages that are as easy to approach as they are to get lost in.
Recorded and mixed between October and December of 2021 in Helsinki, Finland and Lisbon Portugal, using a Fostex X-18 recorder.
Originally self-released by the artist in January 2022. ”

”Henri Lindström’s repeating, slightly off-kilter synthesizer patterns on SOITA JOS MEINAAT DELAA make me dizzy. Time becomes an ouroboros gnawing at its tail feathers as it spins faster and faster circles. Lindström layers these passages in such a way that they are either just barely lined up or just barely misaligned depending on perspective, but it adds odd, dimensional shape to the sounds. Maybe it’s all the neon, but this is music I can see and as it loops and loops toward a sculptured horizon, I can’t stop staring at it. This is a prime Finnish sonic experience.” – Brad Rose / Foxy Digitalis
